After the snow

Ok - they called it a blizzard. I'm from Colorado so blizzard may be pushing it just a bit. However, in other parts of Kansas -not far from here - they did get around 18 inches and there were blizzard-like conditions in some places. Just not here. Our snow stopped yesterday evening and we got between 4 and 6 inches. We went out this morning for a doctor's appointment (yes on a Sunday - later on that though), and the roads were completely clear. It was a beautiful day at nearly 60 degrees. They say it's going to be in the 50's tomorrow and rain. The kids are really disappointed. They were sent home early on Friday and expected to have a blizzard filled weekend and be off tomorrow. I knew better but why bust their bubble too early. :) Anyway, here are my daughter's attempts at snow people. Hayleigh made two little "pail" people. She made them out of a pail - maybe she was pretending to be at the beach.Dakota went with a more traditional, albeit small, snowman. They didn't have much to work with but they had fun anyway.
